How This Helps

Dataset sharing makes it easy to collaborate across roles and organizations. It provides a secure way to grant access to curated image and video datasets without manual handoffs or duplication.

You can share any private dataset with individual collaborators or entire teams. This allows others to view, curate, review, or manage data—depending on the permissions you assign.

Share a Dataset

To share a dataset with teammates or collaborators:

1

Go to Dataset Inventory

Navigate to the Dataset Inventory page.

2

Open Dataset Details

Click on the dataset you want to share to open its Details page.

3

Click 'Share'

Click the Share button in the toolbar or action menu.

4

Enter Recipients

In the sharing panel, enter the email addresses of users or teams you want to invite.

5

Send Invite

Set the appropriate permissions and click Send to complete the share.

Accept an Invite

Once someone is invited, here’s what they need to do:

1

Check Email

The user receives an email invite with a link to access the dataset.

2

Click 'Accept Invite'

Clicking the link will open the dataset (after login or sign-up, if required).

3

Log In or Sign Up

New users must create an account. Existing users can sign in.

4

Access the Dataset

Once authenticated, the user will be directed to the Dataset Details page.

Manage Sharing Access

You can manage dataset access after sharing:

  • View who has access: Open Sharing Settings to see current members or teams.
  • Revoke access: Remove any user or team to revoke access instantly.
  • Extend an invite: Invites expire after 72 hours. You can extend them for another 72 hours via the Sharing panel.

Sharing is flexible—grant access to internal teams or trusted external partners. Just ensure everyone is registered and signed in before accessing the dataset.
